A selection of a tract on Hanafi law, quoting [al-]Fatāwá al-Sirājīyah, Jāmiʻ al-jawāmiʻ, al-Ḥāwī, al-Dhakhīrah, and many other works. The Kitāb al-istiḥsān is evidently the title of this section, and not of the whole work. The second Kitāb - the last word on the last page - is presumably a catchword for the next section of the work. The extant section consists of 32 chapters (cf. leaf 4 verso). Preceded by 1 leaf of table of contents.
